I am a non EU national from Pakistan - I have been in Germany several times. I have someone who wants to sell a restaurant to me, I am working in one of the American fast food chains in Dubai from last five years as management position. Now I\'m starting up a restaurant-business and operation- and develop-business, as one of my brother has his own restaurant in Dubai. We both as partners want to buy that restaurant in Germany and want to add and upgrade and introduce some new products. I want your advise, what I should do, if me and my brother go to Germany on short term visa. Would we be able to buy that restaurant and complete our residence status and visa procedures so we can move freely and visit frequently to take care of our business?

Generally, visas are obtained in the investor\'s home country at a German embassy or consulate. Decisive for the appropriate type of visa are the length and purpose of the stay in Germany. Depending on the intended business activities in Germany, different types of visas are relevant to entrepreneurs. In this regard you have to refer to the Federal Foreign Office (www) or to a German embassy or consulate at your domicile.
