I started a new grocery shop price comparison app in Egypt with my partner. We would like to move to Germany to establish our company and we are looking for seed funding. Is it available to get help from the KfW?

The product “ERP Start-up Loan - Universal” may be used to finance your project if you are a business founder, self-employed professional or for your small and medium-sized enterprise (SME), which have been active in the market for less than five years.

The loan is available with a term of up to 20 years for long term investments and a term of up to five years for working capital.

The loan interest rate is more favourable than for a conventional bank loan.

You may apply for “ERP Start-up Loan - Universal” at any bank (e.g. “Sparkassen”, “Genossenschaftsbanken”, “Geschäftsbanken”) that is willing to fund your project and agrees on submitting your application to KfW. Please note that you cannot directly file your application with KfW.
