My nationality is Egyptian, I established a GbR-company, but I cannot open a bank account, because I am not an EU-resident. For that, I cannot manage my company activities. Can you advise me, what I should do?

Antwort

To open a bank account in Germany will need the following documents:

• Your passport
• Your certificate of residency in Germany (“Meldebescheinigung”)
• a pay statement from your employer (depending on the account type)
• for some banks: your work or residence permit

Please note, that these are general information and it depends on the bank, what requirements you will need to meet to open a bank account.
