Business in Bulgaria: spreading to Germany?

Frage

I work in Macedonia and Bulgaria. I am interested in spreading my business in Germany. But I am not sure about all the administration documents and licences I will need for doing that. I was wondering, if I can work with a firm, registrated in Bulgaria or must the firm be registrated in Germany? Also I need some help with getting all the licences I need for working with food. If you can help me somehow, I will appreciate it a lot.

Antwort

With regard to your inquiry on spreading your business activity to Germany, we would like to recommend contacting the corresponding European Point of Single Contact (PSC): www.point-of-single-contact.de

PSCs are based on the European Directive 2006/123/EC and aim to assist European companies in navigating through certain legal procedures involved when doing business in another EU country. Advice provided by the PSCs is legally binding and usually accessible from a long distance (i.e.: via internet). In Germany, the 16 federal states are ultimately responsible for establishing their own Point(s) of Single Contact. Based on the unique situation of each individual state, PSCs are made available at either the state, county or chamber level. Please click on the map on the website mentioned above to find your local Point of Single Contact.

We hope you find this information helpful and wish you good success with your business venture.
